This
section is not meant to answer questions you have in general
about computers or Reams. These are specifically for the PHASE
software program. If this list does not have the information
you are looking for, do not hesitate to contact us and we
will direct you where to find the answers as best can.
Where
does it discuss Albumen?
In this application, Albumen is referred to as Cell Debris.
If you are used to the word Albumen, simply replace it wherever
you see the words Cell Debris.
What are the questions for on the side? Do they have
anything to do with the calculations?
Some of the information in the software is generalized for
each topic. For example, there are several paragraphs reviewing
what to look for in the Salts/Conductivity number. There are
also sections that give specific information regarding the
clients actual numbers. In this fashion, the software can
be used as a review of the classes for the practitioner, and
a great individualized summary for the client.
Do I need to take classes to utilize the software?
No, but it is highly recommended that you do. Because of the
complexity of Biologic Ionization, it is important to be able
to understand the information that is given in the software
and explain the results to the client for better client compliance
with the proposed regimen. Without extensive research and
experience, it is very difficult to remember it all. The software
can remember all of the details, but it can not bring the
information to the client as personably as the practitioner
can and should. A good foundational understanding of Biologic
Ionization will greatly enhance the use of the software.
Will pHase do the testing too?
PHASE is strictly software that requires a computer to be
utilized. It is not a machine itself and therefor the actual
tests on the urine and saliva must be done by the client or
practitioner. The results are then entered into the software
for recommendations
.
Will it calculate the adjustments that may be necessary
for the salts, sugars, and ureas?
Yes. When raw data is entered in the proper measurement (for
example, salts should be entered in “C”s), the
software will then make any necessary adjustments for you
and display them as well.
How accurate is it?
Every effort has been made to ensure complete accuracy. Since
it is a software program, any errors that are discovered can
be easily corrected.
Have there been any updates?
There have been several updates for a few minor issues, but
mostly cosmetic. The most recent version is always shipped
for any order. If you are uncertain if you have the most recent
version, please email us to be certain.
Can I use this on a Mac?
Yes. The software is compatible with both PC’s and Macintosh
computers.
Is there a recommended diet/report available for the
client?
Yes, there are two reports printed out for the client. There
are also more than 20 pages of information on each test for
the practitioner to view. The practitioner can then determine
how much of the information should be given to the client. |
